serving the community we live in

Two trucking companies working together

Both Choice Reefer Systems (CRS) and David Brown United (DBU) have served our communities for decades. The CRS head office is still located at the site of the original Morrow family farm in Belleville, Ontario. The roots of DBU are based in the small community of Waterville, Nova Scotia and go back to 1949 when David Brown formed the small trucking operation that grew to be a player in Atlantic Canada’s food transportation market. DBU now calls Cambridge, Nova Scotia home.

Small communities tend to have big hearts

Along with employing people from our respective communities, we do a pretty good job of supporting the local activities needing a helping hand. Family, community and trucking have all come together under two roofs at CRS and DBU.

Stan Morrow President, CRS Trucking

"There is something unique about businesses based in smaller communities. We are proud of the contributions we make and the people that make our family based trucking companies successful. We’ve learned to pull together and deliver on our promises for our team members and our customers throughout Canada."
